SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WIN ITT 7s!

The 2008 men’s National All-Star Championship 7s tournament was won by Southern California this past weekend in Pittsburgh, Pa. It was a superb showing from the Southern California Griffins - who have only won the competition once in 2006. They beat the Mid-Atlantic 22-14 in the semifinal and then smashed the West 31-17 in the final.
On Day 1 the Southern California side was the only unbeaten team recording wins over the West 19-7, South 24-7 and Pacific Coast 24-12.
Corey Blair and Peter Sio (pictured above) - both Tiger 7s players - were superb on the weekend, as was OMBAC captain and over-sized head Riaan Hamilton.
