It was a nail biting finish between two of the Tornadoes Rugby men of the year - Jonathan 'Snaith Racing' Snaith and Andrew 'Apples' Apsey.
Apples - a schoolboy rugby legend - played UCT u21A wing but went on to pick up some weight and a few beers along the way.
Snaith - ridiculed at school for looking like a dog breeder - has started one of the most successful horse racing businesses of all time.
The race itself was a classic - with Apples sneaking into the lead - but with his breakfast of champions (4 donuts) coming into play it was that man Snaith who took gold!
